Discussion about Population Control Between Student & Teacher

Discussion about Population Control Between Student & Teacher. These are the views of a student and a teacher discussing about population control in co-relation with poor households and wealthy households. STUDENT: Poverty is one of the most severe issues, not only in our country but all around the world. And hence we need to start from somewhere, giving examples of how every country having a terrible phase is not a solution clearly. The simple underlying division in between rich people having 5 kids not questioned and poor people or below poverty line people have 5 kids, is that, one can afford a sustainable life and the other can't, also the concept of safe sex after marriage is completely debarred, so that is  the common factor bringing communities together. Advertisement Which Made an Impression On You In The Last 5 Years and If You Bought that Product or Service Advertised: AD1: The Advertisement which made a huge impression on me is from  Dominos  Pizza India and it is a local ad. In that advertisement, in the beginning we see a grandmother with his son  at an old age home, and the son is there to  send her grandmother at the old age home to stay because of his busy work life. He says that he and his wife  goes  to work every morning early and there is no one to take care of her. But his grandmother is obviously not happy with that decision and seems very upset about it. She doesn’t even look at him properly. He leaves her without even a proper goodbye but says he will come to meet her from time to time.  Days passes and the grand mother tells stories about her son to other old people there, and how much he loves pizza. She  always waits for her son to call her or come but he never came....

I am a Media student myself too and I have completed one year so far doing BJMC, learned a lot of things so here are some of the tips: * Stay updated with what is happening around the world. This one is very obvious I know, but if you are a Media student and you don't know what is actually going on around you then it's not so good. You can watch news on TV or if you don't like that you can download a news app on your phone and read daily headlines, or just a google search can do wonders. Even reading headlines about what's happening in your country and the world is more than enough for starting. * Use Twitter for knowing more about what's happening. I think it's one of the most useful and best social media sites available. You can use Twitter to know about current t...

Newsworthiness - What Elements Makes a Story News Worthy?

Image
Newsworthiness - What Elements Makes a Story News Worthy? There are certain elements that makes a news story news worthy, that means something that people would love to know about and it interests them and impacts their life. Stories that are news worthy enough are only reported mainly in the newspaper (there may be some exceptions and it depends on the people reading it too). * Location is very important, something that is happening nearby will make a better news than something that is happening at other place, say another state or country. A person living in Delhi would love to know more about what's happening in Delhi than at Mumbai. It depends on the geographical area the audience is present at, that's why even national newspapers has separate sections for audience's city. It impacts the audience more and hence their reading interests. * Something that the  audience is more familiar with will make a better news, like person, place or event than something it i...
